About the Editors

Nellie Deutsch

My name is Nellie Deutsch. I have a BA in English literature and linguistics, a B.Ed in teaching ESL/EFL, an MA in education, curriculum and technology (MAEDCT) from the University of Phoenix. As a believer in life-long learning, I am currently studying for my doctorate in educational leadership specializing in curriculum, and instruction at the University of Phoenix online. I am researching instructor use of web 2.0 tools in blended learning environments. I teach English using web 2.0 tools via Moodle, practice Reiki and Alexander technique, and conduct marriage and relationship workshops according to P.A.I.R.S (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) in prison, community centers and privately.

In my free time, I help educators become aware of the value of integrating web 2.0 tools for instruction and learning synchronously via WiZiQ and asynchronously via Moodle. I am doing this on a voluntary basis because I am passionate about learning and would like to see e-learning available and free worldwide.
