      rains down
      drowns me
          in a flood of exploding boulders
      buries me
          in an avalanche of unattainable dreams

The weight of the fact
      immeasurable twisted scraps
      longing to be built
      formed into coherence

The weight of reality
      pressing and compressing
      coming to a final shape
